So...the secret is out! 

In October I will be joining Team Vigour in an attempt to cross the English Channel! We are an all female 4-person relay team made up of Myself, Fiona, Jessica & Julie.

I will be swimming to raise money for 'Headway - the brain injury association.'

In February my mum (and best friend) suffered a massive subarachnoid brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm.  Mum ended up fighting for her life but despite the odds, Mum fought like crazy and is now recovering at home. I am proud to say that my Mum is a brain injury SURVIVOR! 

It's now time for me to give something back and what else would a mermaid do but swim the Channel?! 🏊🏻‍♀️

21.4miles...4 person relay...no wetsuits...aim of the game - Get To France! 🇫🇷
