Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one woman in a million. We are a self-help group providing support for patients with LAM and raise money for vital research - it is often difficult to obtain money for research into a rare disease.

Story

After a short battle with Covid which led to a very low immune system and various other health issues,  Wendy Crawford ( our Mum) was diagnosed with a very rare lung disease AKA - “LAM” in  December 2021. LAM ( Lymphangioleiomyomatosis) is extremely rare , about 350 women in the UK are known to have it. There is nowhere near enough known about this condition and they are a small charity entirely ran on  awareness and volunteers looking for a cure by funding different medical trials.

We want to raise awareness and funds  for LAM so that other women receiving this devestating diagnosis can reach out to others who are facing the same nature whilst they find medical research to find a cure

Thank you xxxx
