Our grandad, Dave Thomas, passed away suddenly, aged 75 on the 13th October 2020. The number of heartfelt messages the family have received has been wonderful. Reading and hearing memories of our grandad that people have shared with us, has been so comforting and made us smile in such a difficult time. Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, we are unable to hold a memorial to celebrate his life as we would have liked. 

Those who knew our grandad, would know of his great community and charitable spirit so we have chosen a local and deserving charity to raise money for in his memory. Therefore, we have created this JustGiving page to fulfil this. 

Wrexham Rural First Responders are local volunteers, giving up their own spare time to respond to emergency 999 calls and provide urgent first hand care to those in their community. 

We know that our grandad would be so pleased with any donations made to help such an important and vital service in our local area.
