On Saturday 23rd June I am taking part in my first ever Parish Walk. On the day I am hoping to walk 32.5 miles to get to Peel and raise as much money as possible for this very special, amazing, close to home & local charity.

IOM Hospice has meant a lot to me and my family members over the last 20 years, providing the support and care we needed when going through the loss of a relative. However more recently my Mum’s very good friend Louise unfortunately lost her lovely Dad Breandan on 8th June and I know how grateful she is of all the support offered and given by Hospice not only when he was ill but even after the passing of her Dad.

Louise wanted to give something back and I thought what a great idea it would be to aim for the under 21 finish in the Parish and raise some money for this charity in memory of Brendan. She was so delighted when I told her.

Not only me, but also Louise would be very grateful of any donation. No matter how big or small it will all be gratefully received.
