As a friend of Rainbows alongside charity work with other colleagues on my Apprenticeship Programme, we are aiming to fundraise at least £15,000 for Rainbows which only receive 9% of funds from the government to run the hospice, which costs £4.5 million a year.

In attempt to fundraise for Rainbow's Hospice, I am holding a charity auction and raffle at Orange Rooms Southampton in which I am to auction donated goods and prizes within my local community to enrich the lives of children, young adults and their families.

Rainbows is based on the edge of Loughborough in Leicestershire and is the only hospice for children and young in the East Midlands to provide a service free of charge. With any generous donations towards the charity would therefore be able to provide a range of specialist services which can benefit the children, young adults and the wider family. Rainbows currently supports 318 children and young adults, 293 bereaved families and 579 siblings with these services simply not being available anywhere else.

Therefore through this fundraising event of a comedy race night and silent auction along with your generous support, not only can we all socialise and come together to create an amazing night of memories, but to also change the life of those who aren’t as fortunate.

All donation's are very much appreciated  to aid life changing provisions, therefore enrich the lives of others.
