Story
We set up the Dan Jackson Memorial Fund at the Royal Marsden in memory of my husband Dan and to raise vital funds for research into new treatments for bowel cancer.
Dan was treated for bowel cancer at the Royal Marsden for 3 years until he passed away on 18th October 2010 aged just 31. Dan benefited from the amazing support, encouragment, dedication and excellent treatments offered to him by so many of the staff at the Royal Marsden.
Whilst Dan was having treatment his favourite food were bananas, so we decided this would be a great theme for our fundraising!
