Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2018, I am going to Nkwanta, a remote area in the Volta Region of Ghana, alongside a team of 15 girls from Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School. During our visit we are teaching the fantastic girls at the Kyabobo Girls' School, which now enrols over 350 pupils.

The Ghana Education Project (GEP) was founded by Gill Norris, who has been awarded the MBE for her work in Ghana. For over twenty years GEP continues to pursue its aims of improving education standards, gender equality and sustainable development in Ghana.

The walk will take place on the 8th/9th September, weather dependent, and is approximately 30 miles long, running from Brighton Pier to Eastbourne Pier. The walk will take nearly 12 hours, calling for an early start!
