In the film industry and in his public and political life, Lawrence was a passionate advocate and champion of the rights of others; to his friends and colleagues he was the most loyal, selfless and generous of companions; to his wife Diana, his children Jonathan, Aaron and Melanie, his brother David, his sister Mandy and their familes he was a source of unbounded love and devotion.
