I, along with a crazy but fun team of friends have signed up to tackle Tough Mudder 2018 - the ultimate 10 kilometre obstacle run created by military instructors to give willing participants the chance to challenge themselves to the extreme.

The 20 separate obstacles include submerged tunnels, ice pools, high swings, monkey bars, 10ft walls, live electric wires...and many other exhilarating physical and mental challenges over the entire distance but most of all, a lot of mud!

Personal challenges aside, between now and the event on June 17th we wish to take this opportunity - with the help of yourselves - to raise a significant donation for Drake Music Scotland - an incredible charity specialising in musical education for people with disabilities, and run by an equally incredible faculty of instructors.

new music featuring skilled musicians and composers with disabilities
comes alive for everyone. We reshape the definition of musicians,
musical instruments and ensembles, building momentum as the country’s

2018 also sees Drake Music Scotland marking its twentieth anniversary - and the school's Digital Orchestra will be respresenting Europe at the True Colours Festival in Singapore, celebrating talented artists with disabilities from across the globe.
