As most of you know i am battling a rare cancer which over time is expected to beat me.  In the mean time i get help and support from family and friends but sometimes that is not enough. 

I visit the Hamar Help and Support Centre when i need help coming to terms with any news.  They are not only there for me but they are they are to support my family aswell when it is needed.  To me this is important because everyone needs that extra support whether we realise it or not.

Anyway my good friend Darran Cooke is doing the Brighton Marathon on April 6th and thought of me and asked of a charity i would like to raise money for.  The Hamar centre was a no brainer for me. 

Darran is a quiet guy but has a big heart and to run a marathon and think of me means a lot to me.  Please show him the support he deserves and sponsor what you can and give him a massive boost.  Personally i think he is crazy to dress in tight shorts and run 26 miles but i know he is training hard in all weathers and really wants to do this.  Good luck mate and thank you.
