One of my main goals for 2023 is to challenge myself both mentally and physically, and really step out of my comfort zone. And for me, doing this 10k is just that. I'm not someone who actively runs so this is a huge challenge for me and probably one of the hardest goals I've set myself so far.

I chose 'Care For Kids North Devon' as my charity because every child deserves the best fighting chance possible at fighting their conditions and having dignity. During my time working in care I have witnessed people not being able to access the healthcare they need and deserve, and it is heart-breaking. The only way this is possible is through funding, which the NHS just doesn't have. Instead of simply running a 10k, I wanted it to help have an impact on the lives of others.
