Myself and my husband Steve are taking part in this 26 mile Stonehenge trek on 3rd September 2016  now in memory of my beloved Grandad Dennis and to help raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society so that they can continue their research into finding a cure for dementia as well as supporting people affected by dementia and their families .

Here are just a few ways your donations can help towards a world without dementia :

• £50 - This will help for a PhD researcher to continue  research into the causes of dementia , how it can be treated, and ultimately, to find a cure.
• £100 - This would allow a person with dementia to enjoy ten singing for the brain sessions to boost their confidence
• £250 - Could pay for antibodies that are vital for analysing proteins in brain tissue to measure changes
• £650 - Could pay for a comprehensive brain scan to help improve diagnosis of different types of dementia
• £1000 - Could fund a PhD researched for seven days to continue vital research into understanding the causes of dementia , how it can be treated and to find a cure.
