We are the 'Dirty Dancers', a small group of friends from northampton raising money towards the refurbishment of the chemotherapy suite at northampton general hospital 

We will be taking part in Mudderella, a 7 mile long obstacle course event series targeted toward women. With 12-15 obstacles, Mudderella courses are designed to test strength, stamina and all round fitness! Most members of the dirty dancers are mum's of young children and while that requires a massive amount of strength and stamina 😉 it's nothing compared to the obstacles on this mud assault course, so any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated to help get us through it!!!

Chemotherapy Refurbishment Appeal

The Chemotherapy Suite at NGH is a busy department treating patients with different cancers from around the county.  Over 450 Chemotherapy Day Case patients are treated each month in a room and department which are in much need of alteration, refurbishment and improvement.

The newly refurbished suite will transform the environment in which patients are treated.  With the careful use of design, lighting and colour, the treatment area will be a more welcoming and calming environment and the new layout will offer more privacy to patients and practical working space for staff.  

We want to be able to improve the quality of the environment and the services that the Chemotherapy unit offers to patients and their families to make a positive impact on their experience with the department.  

We know that raising the funds in the current climate is going to be a challenge but anyone who has had the experience of someone with cancer knows how important the changes to the Chemotherapy Suite are.  

It is with your help and generous support that we will be able to reach the target of £350,000 to make these improvements.  

So please dig as deep as you can to help raise money toward this fabulous cause.....you never know one day you might need it!!
