Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those who knew our Dad, George Parker, I wont go into details, for those that didn't please ask the ones that did! A real character, good laugh, short, fat, loved whisky and cigarettes. It wasn't a dodgy liver or lungs that killed him though.  Motor Neurone Disease was the culprit. A particulalrly cruel illness that affects everyone in the family.  You can get details of the illness and its effects at  http://www.mndassociation.org/ He died in 2003 but still we need to continue to raise funds to research and hopefully find a cure and to just offer basic needs to the sufferer and their families. Have already done a 3 Volcano walk back in 2003 but need to get going again before the left knee and back completely packs up. Am in training to complete the Great North Run, a 13 mile run!!(jog, fast walk perhaps) Please donate what you can and any free Physio sessions very welcome..

cheers for looking and hopefully donating, love the Arnold & Parker family.
