Running a marathon has been a developing dream of mine. At first, just completing a half marathon was an enormous achievement and at the finish line I always thought "there's no way I could run that distance all over again!" I'm now going to do just that and run the London Marathon next year. Supporting a charity such as Calvert Keilder will give me the opportunity to do something worthwhile and the motivation to get out there and train my hardest. I don't promise to finish in an amazing time, but I do promise to give it my all! The Calvert Keilder Trust helps people of all ages and disabilities to actually LIVE their life instead of being restricted by what they can't do. It's a really cool charity that gets families and individuals out enjoying the countryside and experiencing exhilarating activities in safety. I can walk, I can run! Some people can't just hop out of bed and go for a run and do the things I take for granted everyday. So I'm going to run for THOSE people. When I'm feeling tired and sore, I think of my favourite motivational quote that I found recently which goes "SHUT UP LEGS, you got this!" 

Another I quite like is "Be stronger than your strongest excuse".

Working as a nanny, I don't have the luxury of being able to ask my colleagues for support at my big corporate office, so please help support my cause and help me reach my target!
