Story
Lea was a remarkable loving woman with a generous heart always willing to help others, sometimes even to the detriment of herself. Taken from us by Covid, far too early at just 49, she had a magical aura, beautiful smile and ability to captivate a room and fill it with warmth.
We first met whilst working for Woolwich Property Services 31 years ago when she was just 18 and were together ever since. Lea had an amazing vision and an incredible ability to exceed and be the best at everything she tuned her hand to including Financial services, cat breeder, crafter and not forgetting exceptional mother. She raised 4 fabulous children that any parent would be proud of all of whom have lost a mum at the beginning of their adult life or teens with so much ahead of them that she will sadly miss. However I am sure her soul will be with them in the future to always guide them through life’s ups and downs.
Plagued by illness for many years she struggled with the pain of arthritis refusing to be defeated and rarely complaining. Over the last few years she battled with severe depression, PTSD, and anxiety however she fought those demons in her head with the courage and strength she had always shown through life and was beginning to win the battle. I was privileged to be married to her for almost 28 years and able to tell her I loved her every day. I will continue to love her for the rest of my days until we meet again where I will tell her once more, rest in peace my darling wife.....always and forever babe xxx
Lea lost her life to Covid in 16th Jan however her battle with anxiety and depression consumed the last 3 years of her life. Any donations in her memory to Mind would be greatly appreciated to help others who may be suffering with mental illness as she did.
