Story

Hi everyone.

A lot of you will already know on 21st May I am running Asics Windermere Marathon in memory of my friend Thomas who passed away.

Myself and Thomas’ friendship started at St.Bees Football Club where we played together alongside a great bunch of lads and enjoyed socialising outside of football as well. I have played as a goalkeeper since the age of 12 to avoid running so taking on a marathon is a big challenge for myself (and my knees!) so please give generously. Every little helps and is much appreciated.

The charity I will be fundraising for is Sunbeams music trust who supported Thomas through his illness and even have a room named after him at their building in Penrith.

Thomas was affectionately known to his friends as ‘Titch’  which is ironic because his passing left a massive affect on us all due to him being one of the kindest, most caring individuals you could ever meet and who was always guaranteed to put a smile on your face when in his company. This isn’t surprising due to how his lovely family (Nick, Maggie and Lucy) raised him, I hope I do you all proud.
