We have decided to take on this mammoth of a challenge after having a few short weekends (and beers!!) away camping, fishing and cycling.  In a moment of madness we made the decision to make our journey a bit longer!!  We thought this would also give us the opportunity to raise money for a very worthwhile charity in memory of our Dad who died in 2010.  He was a was a sufferer of Rheumatoid Arthritis, but despite this we take inspiration from him as he never complained, even though he could hardly walk.  He kept his independence by driving and helped at the local McMillan centre, taxiing cancer patients too and from the centre.  He had suffered badly from his early thirties and we thought that we would like help others who also have this affliction.

We are planning to travel up to John O'Groats on Saturday 30th May 2015 and starting the ride on Sunday 31st May 2015, hopefully reaching lands end Saturday 13th June 2015!
