We recognise that there are some very real needs and issues in our local communities that need addressing. They may be related to health or poverty, or to the challenges of growing up or growing old. Whatever and wherever they are, you can usually find a charity or community project that is working to help change the situation for the better. There are at least 3,000 such groups in Leeds. Our aim is to provide them with financial support, in the form of grants, to enable them to do what they do best – helping improve lives, in Leeds.

 

Leeds Community Fund

The Leeds Community Fund supports a range of causes throughout Leeds. Its flexibility means we can respond to new and emerging needs quickly. Its focus is to help people and groups in communities to connect, collaborate and co-develop opportunities to create positive change. It is ideal for people who love Leeds.

 

By donating today, you could help to:  

o   Fund a construction project that is teaching unemployed adults and excluded young people the practical skills they need to get a job

o   Provide staff to lead a course aimed at helping vulnerable people manage their personal finances

o   Fund healthy eating and exercise classes in local community centres.

o   Support community events, festivals and projects which allow people from different backgrounds to come together to socialise, learn more about each other, and create connections in their communities
