Having ran the London Marathon virtually in 2020, and again in London last year for Look UK, the opportunity came up again for 2022, and we thought, why not!

We each have some unsettled scores with this event: 

Ben "2 Years ago I ran the Marathon Virtually. It ruined my legs at around the 15mile mark, so I rocked up to the finish at 8h02m.

Last Year I did it on location in London, and cramped up at around mile 7, still managing to knock 40 minutes off the time so 7h20m. 

This time lets try and aim for sub 5 hours."

Debbi "I would like to beat my little sister"  - sorry did I forget to mention that I crossed the line before her last year ;-)

Becky (me!) "What an amazing experience last year! I came close to a sub 5.15 in 2021, so that is my goal, although a sub 5 hours would be amazing! Did I mention I beat my sister?!"

You may ask why are we doing this to ourselves again? We aren't - we are doing it for the amazing people that Look UK help, and mentor, which without fundraising would not be possible. 

So, dig deep Leigh Siblings, we got this!

Update!!!

Unfortunately Debz has suffered an injury, so has had to pull out of this years marathon. Absolutely gutted for her. Hopefully she will be back fighting fit for April 2023!
