Hello, 

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In July 2014 I will volunteer for three months on a development programme in Ghana. This is part of International Citizen Service, which brings young people together to tackle poverty and make sure help is being given in countries that need it the most. It is to inspire and bring together young people from the UK who are passionate about development in other countries. I'll be working alongside volunteers from Ghana. 

I need to raise £800 for International Service who are a well recognised development charity that delivers to ICS. This will allow them to bring change to people lives and communities. This is something that is hugely important to the charity but also the people who are able to have an education and learn about advocacy. I will be holding a bake sale to raise money for the trip and also I will be holding a Ghanaian music event in London. That way I can learn about Ghana before I go out there. You can keep track of the work I will be doing in preparation for the trip on my JustGiving page. I will also be creating an Instagram so I can keep you updated with my photo diary. 

Any contribution you make will truly make a difference to the lives and communities of people in developing countries. It is important that we help educate and empower others.
