Living through 17 years of my life, with Cystic Fibrosis, has been a constant battle every second of the way. It requires countless daily tablets, inhalers, nebulisers, regular hospital visits, intravenous antibiotic treatments. Cystic Fibrosis has also been tearing away at my social life, I have always been playing catch up throughout school, I have had to decline incredible opportunities and lost even more. Yet through all this, I have never given up hope, hoping for something better, hoping for something more. I have been fighting with the support of friends and family my whole life, as I suffer they suffer watching me go through this endless war. I will keep fighting for my own breath till I have no more!

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.

There have been times when this horrific disease has driven me insane with stress and anxiety in the past, the permanent worries day in and day out, how will I be today, how long do I have left, can I do all this, why can't I just be normal...

I am taking this amazing opportunity created by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to take a risk, take the jump and help all the people I suffer alongside. We are everywhere, often in the shadows taking on the challenges where the people we know may have no idea what we are going through.

I am almost halfway through my expected life span already, just like thousands of others across the country. We deserve more time in this world, we deserve a future, we deserve another breath...

Please help us, we cannot fight this alone any longer, we just want to live...
