Haircut · 1 October 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Antony’s Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the very early age of 60, and over the past few years I have experienced first hand the effects of this devastating disease.

Each year I complete the annual Memory Walk alongside Antony and his family to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Society, in the hope that one day a cure for dementia will be found.

This year I want to do something different in addition to the walk (Oxford, 16 September),  so I have decided to get my hair cut (not completely shaved, but short). I’ll be doing this in October.

I will also be donating my ponytail to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer.

I would be extremely grateful for any donations or posts/shares on social media.
