Cutting off the Locks · 27 March 2017

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Its got to that time, after many, many, many, months of Facebook abuse, random texts, hearing my dads voice and genuinely been handed spare change whilst I sat down on a bench with my skinny chai tea latte, that I have taken it upon myself to donate my hair. It has now reached the required length to be able to donate to BC Children's cancer initiative called Wigs4kids (http://wigsforkidsbc.com/). It is the same as the UKs Little Princess Trust which takes donated hair and forms wigs for children suffering from cancer.

I feel donating my hair to BC and raising the money in the UK is a fair approach and should appeal to the hearts and minds of many across both sides of the salty pond.

Im not asking for loads, mainly because I like having positive targets and feel £100 is achievable, so it should show a plus figure! Donate your one pound coins and anything else you may have spare please. For the Canada crew it will be a bit more given the poor exchange rate, apologies...

I even saved money on the haircut as me and the horseshoe found a hair salon performing free styling classes as a demo for its staff, so score on that one. Thats right, I have already had it cut!!

Thanks for the consideration! Please donate what you can!!

All the best!!
