On Sunday 16th October, I'll be jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft to help raise money for Mare and Foal Sanctuary.

I have always admired the work of the Mare and Foal Sanctuary.  As a horse owner and life long horse lover, I am always sad that there is the need for someone to rescue horses and ponies in need, but I'm incredibly grateful that Mare and Foal Sanctuary are there when these horses need them most.  

When one of my old horses died, her 27 year old companion desperately needed company and along came Zahra.  

Zahra came to us from the Mare and Foal Sanctuary and has been the perfect addition to our herd.  She had a very tough start to her life, but thanks to their loving care, Zahra is now a happy and healthy horse. 

Rehoming a rescue can change a horse's life for the better, and Zahra has changed my life for the better too, just by being in it.

So that's why I am doing a skydive.  To raise funds for other horses like Zahra, so that they can have the same chances, and to support the amazing work of The Mare and Foal Sanctuary.
