We provide inspiration and support to people seriously injured through sport

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running the Marathon des Sables represents to me, an enormous mental and physical challenge. At 251 km's, across a variety of terrains, with each competitor carrying all their own supplies, in temperatures of up to 120 degrees, it is not for the faint hearted.

Yet there are many young people out there who face a bigger challenge every day through no fault of their own. The Matt Hampson Foundation was created when Matt suffered an awful accident whilst playing rugby for England under 20's. They help provide advice, support and treatment for anyone suffering serious injury or disability from any cause, but particularly through sport.
