As many of you know my boys were born 12 weeks early and spent 9 weeks and 1 day in the neonatal unit at the women’s hospital. The care they received whilst there was exceptional and that care continued for another 5 years. The time we spent on the unit was stressful, heartbreaking and life changing but it was also a place I felt safe and knew that my boys were getting the best possible care available.

Without the specialist doctors, in particular Dr Bill Yoxall and the nurses my boys wouldn’t be here so now it’s time for me to give something back. The boys are 10 now so I’ve decided whilst I still can to run a marathon and raise some money for the unit.
