David Goggins - 4 x 4 x 48

Starting on the 22nd March at 00:00am, three mates and I will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours (48 miles in total) in memory of the recent passing of my Uncle after an 18 year battle. Unfortunately, our family has previously been affected by brain tumours and so, this is also dedicated to my Nan who sadly passed away in 2009. The memories and stories that everyone shared of Uncle Glenn shows how much he is respected and loved, and likewise, the memories and love displayed for my Nan is still present to this day. Together, we hope to raise a fair amount of money dedicated to funding research for people affected by brain tumours.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. They’re set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And they’re doing it right now. Because they understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
We are also raising money for Calm (Campaign Against Living Miserably); the link to which will be posted by Sam Peach and shared on our Instagram and Facebook profiles.
