Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2008 my grandfather was rushed to hospital with complications due to emphysema, in 2013 my other grandfather suffered a near-fatal heart attack. In both instances the Cornwall Air Ambulance was dispatched and got both to the hospital before it was too late. I'm sure at some point in my life I'll need the same action to keep me going so I've decided to try and raise something, anything for the Cornwall Air Ambulance trust as I stagger through the Eden Project Half Marathon.


Plus helicopters are pretty cool.

About the charity

Every year Cornwall Air Ambulance attends around 1000 Critical Care missions, delivering fast & effective emergency care to patients in their moment of need. As a charity the air ambulance relies on the generosity of community groups, individuals and businesses to help raise the £5.5million a year.
