Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit this page.  

On the 5th of September I will be running the Southampton marathon to raise money for The British Heart Foundation in memory of Darcy Coomber who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the 27th of January. 

Darcy was quite simply ineffable; no words are able to truly describe the person that she was. If you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting her yourself (sorry if this is the case because you really missed out) believe me when I tell you she had such a kind soul and was so beautiful in every sense of the word. I only had the honour of knowing Darcy for a short while but that’s all she needed to have such an immense impact on myself and so many others. 

I’ve decided to run a marathon in an attempt to emulate the dedication Darcy had with everything she done. She was always so committed to her university degree as well as becoming a better version of herself every day and helping others achieve the same in themselves. I believe that running the Southampton marathon would be best fitting as it was in Southampton where I met Darcy and spent all the time I had with her. 

If you can, please help me in my effort to raise £1,000 for The British Heart Foundation in Darcy’s honour. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and I’ll be keeping my social medias updated with my progress as I prepare to run 26 miles in just a few months time.
