Hello, my son Louie, who's 7 and a half months old has brachycephaly & some plagiocephaly and needs treatment to correct this. He has a very flat head & his head is wider than longer. The treatment involves wearing a helmet specially designed to remould the head to the correct shape. He will have to wear it for 4 to 5 months. Treatment needs to start asap for it to be effective, as the bones will start to fuse at the age of 1 years old. Sadly, the NHS do not fund this as they class it as cosmetic. My partner & i can not afford this treatment so any donation would be greatly received & greatly appreciated, no matter how small.
