Story
On February 8th 2017 my Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer (Glioblastoma). This is incurable and the prognosis is 12-15 months. As well as coming to terms with the diagnosis, burdens such as seizures, speech and hearing problems, just to list a few, can effect daily life drastically. I'd describe my Dad as 'car obsessed' so losing his driving licence was huge for him too.
On January 20th, myself and my best friend will be jumping 10,000ft to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, but mostly to support my absolutely amazing and inspirational Dad. This is the only national charity in the UK that is purely dedicated to raising funds for sustainable research into brain tumours.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this heartbreaking disease.
Please help me raise as much money as possible for families in the future. Thanks so much.
