Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Founded in 1974, by growing our register of stem cell donors, conducting research and supporting patients, Anthony Nolan cures blood cancer and blood disorders. But we need to do more. Without you, there is no cure.

Story

Christo and I are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon- the furthest we have ever run in our lives ever (eek!).

My whole family was very impressed *bemused* at my idea of taking on a half marathon and then dad jumped on the bandwagon...unfortunately he has had to give up his place but my brother Christo has valiantly agreed *been forced* to take up his place. He is a passionate cyclist so let's see how he does on two legs rather than two wheels.

The two of us are running for Anthony Nolan, an amazing charity that literally saves lives every day. Anthony Nolan matches individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants.

Anthony Nolan is especially important to me as I’ve been involved with the Edinburgh student branch- EUBBT/Marrow- for my entire time at university. I have seen first hand the amazing work that Anthony Nolan and Marrow does and I really want to help raise vital funds for the charity!

£700 will help to add more than 10 people to the register. That is potentially 10 brothers, sisters, mums, dads, aunties, uncles, daughters, sons, grandparents saved! Amazing!

Please find out more at https://www.anthonynolan.org/
Maybe even consider joining the register yourself and potentially save someones life.
