Liesje is donating her hair · 28 September 2017

We perform pioneering research into genetic abnormalities of brain tumours, novel imaging techniques & drug delivery. We also excel in diagnosis, innovative treatment & raising awareness. Additional funding will enable crucial advances to be made in understanding & treating childhood brain tumours.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday I am going to have my pony tail cut off so that I can donate it to the Little Princess Trust where they can use my hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair.

My friend Eilidh has a brain tumour. She was diagnosed in 2013 and has had several operations, chemo therapy and proton therapy to try and treat it. It has changed her life and that of her parents, sister Caitlin and brother Lucas forever. I would like to raise a little bit more money to add to team 'Ever Eilidh' so that the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham can do more research to help children in the future.
