I lost my father Steve Killingbeck to Pancreatic Cancer in March this Year. His final weeks were spent at Garden House Hospice in Letchworth. The love, care and outstanding support that we all received made this challenging time more bearable. For more information about this amazing organisation please visit

Some friends and I are cycling from the Hospice to Alicante in Spain to raise money to enable the Hospice to continue providing the same fantastic support for others who find themselves in similar circumstances.

Why Hitchin to Alicante? In his twenties my father and a friend completed this 1500 mile trip in 9 days.  We are taking on this challenge (in 16 days) in honour of his memory.

The Team!!

Peter Killingbeck (Steve's son)

Hugh Killingbeck Jones (Steve's nephew)

Thomas Clark

Thomas Mcdougal

Daniel Francis

With thanks for their support during this difficult time and their enthusiasm for meeting this challenge with me!
