The Legacy Challenge · 24 September 2012

Calman Trust offers support, training and advice to young people in the Highlands who experience difficulty on the road to independent living, so that they can have a good future, overcoming the challenges of unemployment or homelessness.

Story

Inspired by the 2012 Olympic Games’ vision  to “Leave a legacy for the next generation” Johnson & Johnson UK is partnering with 9 local schools, charities or social enterprises that support under-served young people to fund raise with a sports theme from 24 September to 5 October.

Over the two weeks, fundraising activities will take place on-site at LifeScan Scotland to raise funds for our nominated Legacy Partner, the Calman Trust.

Each year 400 young people in Highland are helped by the Calman trust.  The organisation is based in Highland and is run by people who live and work in this part of the country and are committed to improving opportunities for the area’s young people.
