Gung Ho! · 29 April 2017
8 members of LifeBridge ASEND staff have decided to take part in a 5k run which has inflatable obstacles along the way. We are raising money for Breaking Barriers NW and Rumworth Hydrotherapy pool.
LifeBridge ASEND is a post 19 provision for young adults with special needs and disabilities. We aim to support learners into meaningful employment and provide education and enrichment along the way.
We are raising money for Breaking Barriers NW because they are a great supporter of LifeBridge. They provide our learner's with valuable work placements in their charity shop on Bradshawgate, Bolton. They have also provided amazing enrichment days out for our learner's to experience with the 'Speed of Sight' driving experience and 'Challenge for Change' activity day. We are extremely grateful for their support and would like to say Thank you!
We are also raising money to help build a Hydrotherapy pool at Rumworth School. Rumworth School is an outstanding special school for students aged 11-19. They are currently raising money to build a hydrotherapy pool on site which would help to provide valuable therapy, physical education and enrichment sessions for many of their learners.
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT,
