Bismillah.

I have created this page with two intentions. The first is the fairly obvious one - Cann Hall Masjid in Leytonstone require urgent funds as they go through refurbishment and emergency works before Ramadan. One of the main contributions will be for lighting units. One lighting unit comes to £50. 

The second is more of a personal one. Brother Sadat Patel was the caretaker of this Masjid but sadly passed away a few weeks ago. The last thing he did was serve the Masjid - his aim was to always serve the Deen and give his all for the sake of Allah. My intention is to pass on this reward to him - and together we can do that.

The last thing he did in the Masjid was to change a light bulb. The time has now come to light up this Masjid - for the sake of Allah.
