.Your donation gives real hope to all those children fighting ependymoma brain tumours. We support research into this devastating cancer that affects 100's of children worldwide every year. Our aim is to find a cure. Please help us to help them know that they are not fighting alone. Thankyou.

Story

Lil is a little girl who attends Ysgol Pencae and we are all
friends with her mum. She was diagnosed with an ependymoma brain tumour at the age of 3.  She had a major operation to remove the tumour and went to America for Proton Beam therapy which was deemed successful.  Devastatingly a routine scan picked up its recurrence and at the age of 6, Lil has recently undergone a gruelling 5 month course of chemotherapy.

Lil is truly an inspiration. She handles everything that is
thrown at her with an inner determination that most of us haven't got. Even in the darkest of times, she is smiling and making people laugh.  She is at her happiest when playing with friends and going to school.

Some Pencae famililes (including Lil, her mum Amanda, her dad, Aled and brother, Ned, along with the Todds, the Wells and the Williams/Roberts/ap Gareths) have decided to pound the pavements to raise awareness of this horrible tumour and to boost the funds to fight it.  Raising money to boost the fight against this cruel illness will give hope to all those children who, like Lil, are fighting ependymoma brain tumours.
