Lily was diagnosed with type one diabetes on the 7th August 2010 at just 21 months old. Since then Lily has had to endure up to 7 injections both day and night in order to survive.

To raise awareness and support for Juvinlle Diabetes, we are holding a birthday bash in aid of Lily turing 3.

 

The Party will be held at the Ashby Woulds Pub in Moira on the 13th November 2010 at 3pm-8pm. There will be a disco, bouncy castle, face paints, food served all day and and lots more.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world's largest charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.  It was founded by a small group of parents of children with type 1 diabetes who recognised that insulin injections are not the cure for this life threatening and lifelong condition.
