Story
Dear friends,
This year, we would like to do something a bit different for our joint birthday party – we’d like to ask you NOT to buy any birthday presents. We already have all the toys, books and clothes that we need … and more… so we think it’d be of much better use to help those in needs.
We’d be delighted if, instead, you could make a donation to SchoolMe. It is a Tunisian charity, that Lina knows well already, which promotes development through education. It is a small organisation, ran by volunteers with virtually zero admin costs, and every pound that you give will go towards the funding of education of children not as lucky as ourselves.
Personally, our dream this year is to raise £500 to fund one full year of education for a deprived boy or girl, and any contribution that you could make towards it would be incredibly worthwhile.
As for us, we’ll count ourselves lucky to spend our birthday party with awesome people like you and we look forwards to having lots of fun with you all on 18th June!
