On December 11 I am taking part in the Mid Sussex Santa Run for the British Heart Foundation.

I would like to raise as much money as I can because this is a cause that is close to my heart.

When I was 11 years old my father died instantly from a major heart attack at the age of 35.

Heart attack prevention and treatment has moved on since 1962, however, much more research is needed. 

My father's life was tragically cut short. It is my hope that, with more research, other people can be prevented from dying from heart disease at such a young age.
