Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set this page up in memory of my wonderful mum Linda Payne, who in the last two weeks of her life was supported at home by Marie Curie.

Each of the nurses and carers who came to attend to Mum's needs were absolutely fantastic. Unparalleled was their care, kindness and compassion.

Each of us very quickly were able to return to our individual roles of Husband, Daughters and Son, safe in the knowledge we had an expert team of professionals who were completely person & family centric in their approach to the palliative care they gave. 

The relationship they struck with each of us in such a short time made it feel as though we had all been friends for years.

When Mum passed away on Mothering Sunday 2019, she did so surrounded by her entire family, comfortable and in peace.

We would like to thank the Marie Curie team in Caterham and more specifically: Jo, Janet, Alison, Gemma, Debbie, Toby, Amy, Chloe, Elena, Chris & Nikki. You guys are simply amazing!!
