On October 5th, a 50-strong team of Liquidnet employees, family and friends will be taking to the roads of South West London to navigate the 86km journey to Brighton to raise funds and awareness for Liquidnet's charity partner, Missing People.  This, for many riders, will be the first bike ride in years, and for most, the longest cycle they've attempted to date, which is a huge achievement! 

Missing People is the only charity in the UK which is dedicated to bringing missing children and adults back together with their families, and they are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide support by phone, text and email.

How will your donation help? 

- £5 helps to reach out to a missing person by text
- £15 helps Missing People manage a call between a missing teenager and their parents
- £30 helps provide counselling sessions for the parents of a missing child
- £50 helps Missing People reach out to 2 families with tailored information and resources
- £100 helps Missing People respond to 5 'textsafes'; a message sent to children and adults in crisis

As you read this, there are missing children who are alone, terrified and vulnerable to harm. We urgently need your help to protect them. 80,000 children go missing each year in the UK. Every child is vulnerable and deserves to get home safe. The longer they are missing, the greater the chance of harm. We must act fast to find them.
