I am throwing myself out of a plane at 15,000 ft on 12th August, to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation's " MENDING BROKEN HEARTS APPEAL" .... in honour of my wonderful and brave, brilliant Mum !

My Mum was born with a hole in her heart and over the years and has had countless operations and complications to deal with. She needs to take regular medications, have regular heart checks along with the need to have a pacemaker fitted to control her heart rhythm.

At the moment, there's no cure for a broken heart. Once your heart muscle is damaged by a heart attack, birth defect or disease it can never fully recover. But there is hope ...... A zebra fish can heal his own heart, with your help maybe we can heal our own.

The British Heart Foundation need to spend £50 million to fund ground breaking research that could begin to literally 'mend broken hearts' in as little as ten years time.Your support can give hope to hundreds of thousands of people across the UK
