As most of you who know me will know, I've got a bit of a bug bear about housing and homelessness. Fortunately I was sheltered from it growing up but as I've met and worked with and for lots of different people I've witnessed first hand how destructive unstable housing and homelessness is. 

I've chosen to support St. Basil's as they work in the West Midlands area to tackle youth homelessness, not by merely offering accommodation but by providing the much needed support services that can turn a life round, provide skills and ultimately offer hope. 

I'm lucky, I'm rowing with a great bunch of people who are a fountain of support both in and out of the boat, others aren't so lucky and St. Basil's helps those that need that shoulder to lean on in times of crisis. Hopefully you agree and could spare a bob or two!
