I have had people contacting me the last few weeks to see if there is anything specific the Chinese dogs or other dogs need at this time of year other than coats and bedding here with us at Greyhound Gap. The answer is no bar one thing heating. Last month our electricity bill here at the kennels for just one month was £900! Yes £900 and that was just with heating on from 4pm till 8am. This is the current scene at the kennels and we are set to get hit harder and harder the next few days. The dogs are now locked in permanently just being allowed out for toilet breaks and the heating on full pelt. Last night with all the heat lamps on we just about maintained the temperatures so tonight more heating will be added. We have plenty of food, toys and treats here already so the best way to help us to help them is to enable us to not worry so much about the astronomical heating bills we will face to ensure they are warm. 

We also really donations of second hand duvets (no feathers) and fleece blankets or thick blankets if those local to Stoke on Trent have any!
