Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page! :)

Never done this before … but I’ve always wanted too … so its there is not time like the present … there is a first time for everything!!

So i'm taking on Mount Snowdon Challenge to support the amazing work that Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Boarders (UK). The charity deliver emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare, their work has included trying to help safe passage for the refugees in Europe.

So what’s the challenge you ask … to climb the mighty Mount Snowdon, the highest point in England and Wales, with an elevation of 1,085 meters (3,560ft), via the Lianberis Path.

It would be great if you could donate and share my page so I can raise as much as possible to help them provide emergency medical care worldwide to people affected by conflict & disasters.

We have all seen in the news and various media about what is happening in and around Europe. We’d like to help on a level where we can actually save lives before we see more horrific images.  Médecins Sans Frontières are a humanitarian agency and have already rescue ships in the Mediterranean, in one of their biggest operations they rescued 1,658 people!
