Love this run Great North Run and decided to to participate for the third time running to raise funds for this well deserved charity HEY Mind.

My running journey began in April 2014 when I was suffering with anxiety,  stress and generally feeling low,  I decided I would participate in my local Parkrun with family and have never looked back since.  For the first six months my mind  and thoughts were very negative but the happy feeling just kept drawing me back.  The negativity thoughts are now positive  and I wouldn't dream of not running with family and friends.

This challenge is going to be completed with my Husband Richard Goodman who had to defer his place last year due to having a heart attack followed by a complication and then to be told later in the year he had blood cancer.  We are both keen social runners and are really looking forward to this run.
