Me and my beautiful dogs will be partaking in this amazing event with a view to raising as much money as possible, with your help and generosity.

 

This is why i'm doing it!..

 

PC Nicola Hughes 23years lost her life alongside her colleague, PC Fiona Bone, last year in the horrific incident in Manchester on the 18th of September 2012.

They were responding to a routine report of a burglary..

This could have been ANY officer attending this incident.. Unfortunately it was Nicola and Fiona who sadly lost their lives due to the evil creature who is deservedly behind bars serving hopefully a number of life sentences.

 

Nicola's dad Bryn has arranged this great event  and will be taking part in the North Pole Marathon... Brrrrrrr... I know it's getting colder over here but the temperatures there will be extreme!..

 

This event goes towards the newly established PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund, where Bryn is hoping to establish a lasting legacy to Nicola helping various causes.

This is where me and the kids are getting involved..

 

A 'Run To Remember' where several volunteers from each Police Force will take part in a 125 day challenge by running 2 miles per day (or equivalent) totaling 250 miles, starting on 1st of December and finishing the week Bryn departs for the North Pole.

 

 

We have been tasked to raise as little as £100 each but I know with your help this figure will be beaten..

 

Just think of me and the kids running round De Veres at daft o'clock in the morning while your tucked up nice and cosy in your beds..
